DOG LICENSING

Residents with dogs are required to license their pets. As required by the state, dogs must be vaccinated for the license year before a license is issued, and a copy of the rabies vaccination certificate is required. The Borough offers a free rabies clinic each year in January, at the Firehouse. The license fee for a spayed/neutered dog is $18.00 per year. For non-spayed/ neutered animals the fee is $21.00. Renewals of existing licenses are due by January 31 of each year. A late fee of $7.00 is charged for all renewals received after this date.
