View Chatham Borough’s Preliminary Flood Hazard Data
The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing the public an early look at a home or community’s projected risk to flood hazards. FEMA’s Preliminary Insurance Rate Map webpage is geared towards homeowners and community officials who want to understand how their current effective Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) may change when the preliminary data becomes effective. Prior to the FIRM becoming effective, stakeholders are provided a 90-day appeal period in which they can appeal.
