10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Our activities: Chatham merchant sidewalk sales; outdoor dining; tasty food and thirst-quenching beverages including beer and wine at the outdoor pub; hand-made crafts and artwork; show-and-tell displays on everything from honey bees to planting trees; fun and games for kids of all ages
A brief history: For centuries Chatham has provided a welcome stop for travelers and merchants along the Fishawackthe Lenni Lenape Indian’s term for the Passaic River. In 1971, Chatham’s Chamber of Commerce spun that idea into a lively downtown festival, a tradition that’s since evolved into an areawide, annual celebration of our friendship, charm and community pride.
Featured Events: Art Exhibit, Comedy Magician, Craft & Vendors, Chatham Jaycee's Fishawack Run, Kids' Fun Zone, Live Entertainment, Pop Up Entertainment, Outdoor Pub, Food Court, Shop Chatham, Car Show, Senior Lounge, Strawberry Shortcake Festival, Northern Jersey Bloodmobile, Firematics, Great War Centennial Celebration, Volunteer Recognition and a Movie Under the Stars.
