Fishawack Application 2017

Saturday, June 11, 2016

10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Our activities: Chatham merchant sidewalk sales; outdoor dining; tasty food and thirst-quenching beverages including beer and wine at the outdoor pub; hand-made crafts and artwork; show-and-tell displays on everything from honey bees to planting trees; fun and games for kids of all ages

A brief history: For centuries Chatham has provided a welcome stop for travelers and merchants along the Fishawackthe Lenni Lenape Indian’s term for the Passaic River. In 1971, Chatham’s Chamber of Commerce spun that idea into a lively downtown festival, a tradition that’s since evolved into an areawide, annual celebration of our friendship, charm and community pride.

Featured Events: Art Exhibit, Comedy Magician, Craft & Artisan Vendors, Chatham Jaycee's Fishawack Run, Kids' Fun Zone, Live Entertainment, Movie Under the Stars at Lum Field, Northern Jersey Bloodmobile hosted by Chatham First Aid at the Bank of America drive-through, Pub & Food, Shop Chatham, Vintage Vehicles
