GOLF PERMITS TO THE MILLBURN PAR 3 COURSE: Permits are being sold to borough residents in the Recreation Office at 54 Fairmount Ave. The office is normally open Monday-Friday between 8am and 4pm. To secure a permit residents will need to bring a thumbsized picture of themselves, their current drivers license and a current Jersey Central or Public Service Utility bill both with their name and current borough address. Permits can not be purchased for another individual. Full member permits are $180 and limited use permits $90. Only checks are accepted for the permits. An additional $5 in cash will be collected for the laminated id. The limited use permits can only be used Tuesday through Friday between 10am and 2pm. NEW THIS YEAR - residents must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a permit. Residents under age 13 are not eligible to play the course.
TENNIS: Repairs are being done to the Tennis Courts beginning the week of July 21st. One set will be completed before the other set is started. The courts being repaired will be locked from use until they are completed. The other set will be available. 2008 Tennis Permits are on sale in the Recreation Office. They are sold weekdays at the Chatham Borough Municipal Building. Membership, open to borough residents only, is necessary to enter the courts. Professional Tennis Lessons are held during the year. The next session will begin in September. Forms will be available in August at the Boro Municipal Building in the Recreation Office. Lessons are open to children and adults. The lessons are open to Chatham Boro residents. Please watch this site and register early so decisions can be made on classes.
MEMORIAL PARK POOL: The pool is open weekends from 12-5:30pm. The pool is open during the week from 9:30-7pm. A list of the complete pool schedule is issued when a member registers. The pool closes Labor Day, September 1. Badges ($50 each) are sold at the pool.
ONLINE REGISTRATION: Chatham residents can go to the registration page at ChathamRecreation.org and set up an account with Community Pass. Community Pass is recreation's online registration where residents can use their Visa or Master Card to register for an activity.
