All memberships are valid for the full 2026 pool season through Labor Day (September 7, 2026), regardless of purchase date. The dates below indicate pricing periods only.

Pool Schedule

• The Chatham Borough Memorial Park Pool will open weekends beginning May 23, 2026.
• The full summer schedule runs June 15, 2026, through Labor Day, September 7, 2026.
• The pool will close during thunder and lightning.
• To check if the pool has reopened after a storm, call 973‑635‑2196.

Creating a 2026 CivicRec Account

1. Registration Website: visit Civic Rec at https://secure.rec1.com/NJ/chatham-nj/catalog

2. Click 'Log in with Email' in the upper left corner.

3. On the CivicPlus sign‑in screen, click 'Don’t have an account? Sign up

4. Follow the prompts to create your account.

Note: Even though you may not yet have an email on file, the 'Log in with Email' button is still the correct place to begin creating your account.

Why a CivicRec Account Is Required

The Borough of Chatham no longer uses Community Pass. Residents must create a CivicRec account to register for recreation programs and pool memberships. This allows the Borough to track attendance, maintain capacity limits, and store emergency contact information.

Membership Registration

Chatham Borough, Chatham Township, and local area non‑resident memberships will be available online beginning March 11, 2026.

Important Notes:

• All registrations must be completed online.
• Cash will not be accepted at the pool.
• Members should bring a copy of their receipt when visiting the pool.
• Memberships cover the entire summer season (guest passes are for single day use)
• Various membership types are available based on the date of registration

Membership Definitions

A Family Membership consists of up to two adult parents or guardians and their resident dependent children who share the same primary residence.

One Adult per family is considered the membership holder on civic rec.

If additional adults living at the same address (such as grandparents) wish to join, they must register for an individual or senior membership.

Au Pair membership holders must accompany a member’s child and may not use the pool independently.

Supervision Requirements

Chatham Borough / Township Residents:

• Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult family member on their account.

Area Non‑Residents:

• Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult family member on their account.

Pool Use Rules

• Children must be 100% toilet trained to enter the main pool.
• Children unable to stand or swim independently must be accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or guardian in the main pool.
• Flotation devices of any kind are not permitted in the main pool.

Facility Features

The facility includes a wading pool with graduated entry and water features. With both the wading pool and main pool on the same level, parents can easily supervise children of different ages.

Nearby amenities include a basketball court, playground, and the Chatham Public Library.

Extreme Heat Policy

On days when temperatures reach 90°F or higher, Chatham resident seniors (age 62+) may use the pool free of charge.
