DPW Milling & Paving beginning Tuesday, August 4th

Weather permitting, Schifano Construction will complete paving operations on Monday, August 10, 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The paving was originally scheduled for an earlier date but was postponed due to a contractor delay.

Work is scheduled for the following roadways:

• Edgewood Road — Lafayette Avenue to the town line
• Chatham Street — Lafayette Avenue to the dead end
• Lincoln Avenue — Chatham Street to the dead end
• Front Street — Washington Avenue to the dead end

There will be no parking on the affected roadways during paving operations. Residents must remove all vehicles from these streets before 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect temporary road closures, traffic delays, and limited access while work is underway. Please follow all posted signs and directions from personnel in the work zones.

Garbage and recycling collection will continue the normal schedule. Please place all materials at the curb by 6:00 AM on your scheduled collection day to help ensure pickup.
