MyChathamNJ is a grass-roots advisory committee of the Mayor and Council. Our goal is to engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving the environment and visual appeal of the community’s public properties. We support litter prevention, waste reduction, recycling, beautification, community greening and economic growth within Chatham’s Business District.

These programs include community education for responsible consumerism, source reduction, reuse and recycling, community public gardens, restoration, urban tree canopy, native and wildflower plantings, and defacement prevention and abatement.

If you are interested in volunteering to be on the MyChathamNJ council, email Janice Piccolo at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or fill out the volunteer application!
