Solid Waste

The Borough provides solid waste removal for its residents. Billing is done annually. In addition, residents are required to place all garbage in special green bags which may be obtained at certain local vendors, including Kings Market, Shop Rite and Dreyer’s Lumber. Pick-ups take place twice a week, with a Bulk Pick-up for larger items once a month, at beginning of each month. Pick-up dates are determined by the location of each residence.

All items are to be placed at the curb prior to 6:00 a.m. on the day of pick up, but not before 5:00 p.m. the night before. For a list of dates and important phone numbers, calendars may be obtained at Borough Hall. For solid waste questions, please call 973-635-0674 extension 214.
